Many of our standard operational procedures are centered around our mission: avoid negative impact. We recognize our responsibility to clean up our mess by recycling, minimizing plastic use and waste. Every messy mistake is a lesson learned. North American salons produce an estimation of 421,000 pounds of garbage daily.

As a part of our commitment we recycle:

• Hair: Clippings are collected and transformed into compost, bio-composite plastic, or used in environmental technology such as water filtration.

• Metal: Aluminum foils, color tubes, and other metals are recycled and repurposed into new products.

• Left over chemicals: Excess color is safely treated and converted into clean water or energy.

• Water usage: Filters at each shampoo basin purifies the water and dramatically cutting overall consumption.

A conscious approach to haircare...

• We are mindful of ecotoxicity by choosing green-chemistry and vegan- avoiding ingredients such as phthalates and parabens to protect water ecosystems.

• We promote the use of refillable and multi-use products. Recommended haircare routines are always mindful with fewer, quality products. The products we use and sell are for everyone. These versatile and mixable products help simplify, reduce waste, and keep hair healthy.

Tip: Before purchasing new, we recommend finishing the hair product you already have. These beautiful glass bottles can be easily reused and upcycled. (Turn an empty hairspray bottle into a homemade room spray!)
