Vegan: cruelty-free +

Cruelty-free does not always mean vegan but our salon stands for both to help protect animals and the environment they live in.

Animal-derived ingredients are widely used at a trivial cost.

They include:

  • Keratin: often made from animal byproducts sourced from large-scale farms.

  • Lanolin: from the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals, raises animal welfare concerns.

  • Honey and beeswax: commercial honeybees can harm native bee populations, which are essential pollinators.

  • Collagen: sourced from cows or fish, is commonly used in hair products, but its production is linked to deforestation and ethical concerns.

As much as we can:

  • We avoid impactful ingredients that go down the drain and disrupt the habitats of marine life.

By eliminating these ingredients, our salon demonstrates respect for all life forms. We choose brands that prioritize ethics over profit and refuse to sell in markets where animal testing is required. We support brands that share our values and are committed to cruelty-free practices.

In food, fashion, and beauty, avoiding animal‑derived ingredients can create a meaningful impact.
